How to Forward Student Email

This article will demonstrate how to forward your student email to a personal email address or another email account you have permanent access to.

It is recommended to forward what you need well in advance before the @titans.easternflorida.edu address is no longer available, preferably upon receiving notice that the student email is planned to be deleted.

Please note that auto-forwarding will not be available to setup to forward emails automatically to another email address upon account deletion. Emails must be forwarded manually.

This article was developed using a desktop computer utilizing Windows 11. Depending on the operating system and if you are using a mobile device, some of the steps below may differ slightly, but will mostly be similar.

How to Forward Student Email

1.  Begin by visiting https://www.outlook.com

2.  Locate and click the Sign In option.

Note: There may be a couple buttons to Sign In, either near the top of the page or in the top right corner.

3.  You should now be directed to a Microsoft sign in page. Log in using your titans email address and password, then complete the MFA verification.

Note: After entering your titans email address, the log in page may visually change to reflect the Eastern Florida State College sign in.

4.  The Outlook inbox should now appear and look similar to the image below.

5.  Locate an email you would like to forward either in the Inbox or another folder you may have placed it in. Click or double click on the email and then find the Forward button to select.

Two different methods can be seen in the images below: The first for single clicking the email and then selecting Forward. The second image shows if you double clicked to open the email in a new window and then select Forward.

Note: The Forward option should appear in the toolbar above the Inbox, or within the window the email is open in near the right top right (including other Forward buttons you may see). It also has an icon of a blue arrow pointed to the right.

6.  After selecting Forward, you can now choose a destination to send the email to. In the To box, enter a personal email address or another email account you have permanent access to. Then, click Send to complete the forward to that address.

Note: You can change the subject of the email and add text to the body if it helps identify the email for you in the future.
